Scrapville Scrapburst #2

This week at Scrapville is Scrapburst #2... This one is sure to challenge you but l had lots of fun creating this layout...
For full details and lots of inspiration on this challenge don't fortget to check out the Scrapville Blog

Here is the Challenge:
Create a Layout using the following:
  • 1 word Title,
  • 2 different Ribbons,
  • 3 Shapes (any size, any medium eg chip, flowers, die-cuts etc),
  • 4 Photos (any size) and
  • 5 Buttons (any shape, colour or size)... (for some reason button bird comes to mind??)
You have until the 30th June to have your ScrapBursts completed and emailed or dropped into Scrapville.  Now, for some samples from the girls.

Here is my take on the Challenge

1. Hanging as my title
2. Ribbon along top of Striped paper and twine as string
3. Hand made Rope out of twine and sticks, this was fun to make, Hedgehog button and hanging monkey
4. Photos
5. Buttons 3 with Twine and two just plain...

Scrapville's Scrapburst Week 1

This month at Scrapville we are having 4 Scrapbursts Challenges... Each week Janet will be putting up a new challenge, lots of fun and a great way to find new inspiration...

Here is week #1

ScrapBurst #1

Using the image below as inspiration, please create a layout.  You may focus on whatever  inspiration you draw from the image, whether it be the colour, the theme, shapes, words, patterns or the feeling it gives you. It must be a 12x12 in size, and submitted by Pumpkin Time on 30th June.  Please include your Name, contact details and ScrapBurst Challenge #.

Here is my take on the Scrapburst #1 - I don't normally use Yellows but l got my inspiration from the colour yellow and also the lace and flowers... This was a fun challenge... Look forward to next weeks... To see more about this Challenge check out for more inspiration and details...
