Copic Markers Card

Copic Pens their just textas that you colour with, well that was what l thought when l first heard about them but they are very addictive and the best way to blend colours.... After getting my starter kit l just had to order the next kit, after receiving it in the mail from Lime Tart - http://www.limetart.com.au/ , l couldn't wait to start playing with my new colours...These kits are just perfect, the instructions are so clear and easy to understand, and each kit you learn new techniques... The one thing l made sure of, was to warn the kids not to touch these pens EVER... lol.... I'm sure l have a lot more to learn to better my technique but l'm having fun just playing,,,,,

Isn't the stamp so cute, it could be used for so many different occasions...   Hoping to get some more created soon...

Scrapbookit Sketch Challenge

Scrapbookit's November Sketch Challenge

Here is my take on the Sketch, l turned the sketch upside down as l thought it suited better.

I started this layout during the week but wasn't happy with it so decided to add some more detail to it... Love the Echo park papers they are so bright and happy... This is only the first page of many, as l have lots of great photos of the Play that Sam was in last year...

Birthday Card

I've been playing with my new Copic Markers again today and the new Stamp set l brought on Wednesday... Isn't the puppy stamp the cutest....

Sketch Challenge and Inspiration

It's wonderful to have some time to relax and scrap this week... I have two layouts to share with you, the first one is a Sketch challenge from Scrapville. http://www.thescrapvilleblog.blogspot.com/

and here is my take on the sketch... I've used the Echo Park Papers, these papers are gorgeous bright happy papers... Perfect for the photos of Amy on her new Powerwing that she got for her birthday...

The second layout l have to share is from Scrapvilles October monthly pack - Echo Park Life is good range... I loved the colours in this range and they worked perfectly with the photos l had of Amy and Steph at their Exam Practise early in the year... Again another simple style layout, starting to really enjoy the simple layouts and the white backgrounds, is funny how your style changes...

Get Picky Inspiration Challenge

Get Picky have a Inspiration Challenge which is something a little different for me, l've never actually tried any Challenges where you have to take inspiration from a picture... I usually only do Sketch challenges, so time for me to get out of my comfort zone... It wasn't all that hard to find some inspiration and to come up with some ideas... I'm looking forward to some more of these challenges...

Cardabilities Sketch Challenge

A great weekend for creating, here is a double layout for Sam's 5/6 Camp, it's the extra to pages to the layout l shared with you all a few days ago... Simple but a great way to use lots of photos...

Camping Layout

Decided it was time to sit and do some scrapbooking this afternoon, l've been working on this layout for a while and just love the photo of Sam and Tom on their Year 5/6 camp at Lake Buffalo at the start of the year... This is the first of a 3 layouts, lots of great photos to scrap of his camp...

I used the Bo Bunny Roughin" It papers, perfect for all the camping photos l have...

Now to start working on the next two layouts...

My Scrap Desk

I have started to put my scrapping area together at home, it's sure does feel good to have started to set up my own creating area, still need to finish one set of my draws and also waiting on Rick to make a new shelf for me but mostly it is as l want it... Now l can sit and create in my own space... Only need to work out how to keep the kids away from it... Especially my little girl who loves scrapping... I'm hoping to set up a table in the kids room for her so she won't be so tempted to touch my stuff...

Flower Card

I've been busy creating again today with my new Flower Quilling tools and some Die cuts... I brought a Fence die cut and just had to create something using it... I came up with this idea about 3am this morning.. Yes crazy l know but just woke and starting thinking about what my next project could be using my new tools...
Here is my card..... I'm thinking is cute enough to maybe put into a frame and have it hanging on the wall...

I think l will have to get some photos and do a layout next....

Thank you Cards

My mum asked me if l could make a couple of Thank you cards for her, so the perfect opportunity to get out my new Cuttlebug Quilling Tools and have a play... Thank you to my lovely friend Nikki for introducing me to these tools... The one thing l love are the look of handmade paper flowers but l really don't enjoy all that cutting and putting together so when l found out about the new Cuttlebug Quilling Flower tools l just had to have a set... I had so much fun making these flowers and they were very quick and easy to make...

Here are the 3 cards l made today.... All from only a couple of pieces of paper...

Get Picky Challenge Blog

My beautiful friend Nikki Antonello and her friend Tanya Tahir have created a new Challenge Blog, l have to admit that l'm very excited as l love using lots of photos on my layouts and it's really hard to find inspiration online and in magazines for layouts with lots of photos... Beautiful Butterfly

Today Amy was asked by Kim Goodman to be part of a community photo for the local paper, she wanted Amy to have her face painted and was hoping a lady that normally does face painting could do it but she was unavailable so she asked me to do it... LOL l'm not so good with that stuff so l asked Rick to do it... I found a picture of a girl with a butterfly painted on her face and brought some face paint and away he went, so glad that he's so artistic, she's still running around tonight with her face painted and doesn't want to wash it off...

I thought it was time to create a blog about me and my family...
